i tried giving my villagers tambourines!!

lol but they can't play them!!! i was already imagining them randomly playing it while I was roaming around :'} oh well

That would be so cute! I wished it worked out.
I put a tambourine down for display, so sometimes I get lucky and a villager plays with it.

Are you sure they can't play them? I know your jock villager will play the tambourine on the first night, so maybe there's a chance they do?

I tried giving a villager a wig I got from able sisters. They said they would try it on when they got home. I can understand villagers not wearing certain clothing, but they should use the instruments! That would be so cute lol

Maybe it’s an item they can randomly pull out and play with? Like how they sometimes are found reading or eating a sandwich; maybe a tambourine is thrown in there, too? I’ve just never seen it.

I noticed when I gave the Tambourine to Maggie, she took out what looks like a doggy lunch bag? (i remember those from New Leaf <3)
So I assumed she couldn't hold a Tambourine!! : o lol hopefully one of the villagers surprises me! We'll see. ^^
Tambourines aren't cheap this early in the game lol! So they better use'm! LOL
