Hello all, this may sound absurd, but like most I really like Raymond’s design, and have been trying to get him for my island, but generally I’m not a fan of smug villagers and the only one who I like is Marshal. It’s not his design, it’s something to do with how his image fits his dialogue. I have Zell at the moment (as well as Marshal) and Zell says all the same things but I don’t warm to him, even though his design is great. So I don’t want to keep obsessing over Raymond only to find that actually, I just don’t warm to him ‘in person’. Obviously I’m expecting to, or I wouldn’t be throwing every single NMT I have into finding him, but it’s always good to be sure.
