I know no one can confirm nor deny but I want as many PWP as I can fit. We got so limited in New Leaf.

I (as do many of you) have a very eclectic style so I was left wanting. The placing furniture outside was is a BIG HELL YEAH from me but I want a very populated and condensed feeling Island, similar to that of Ap Lei Chau. This requires many big monuments.

Do yall feel the same or do I need to drink more water

I don't imagine it will be unlimited... but hopefully the limit is a lot higher this time.

I wouldn't be surprised if part of the limit could've been related to the 3DS hardware's power. The Switch can handle a lot more than the 3DS can.

I imagine they ditched the PWP concept in favour of just letting us craft items similar to PWPs in the form of furniture, to give us much more freedom.

Good point. The only things it seems like you might have to pay for PWP style were bridges and ramps. Things that would've been PWP in NL, like lighthouses or signs are probably all furniture now.

I think because tables can be placed outside, and you can fit a few things on a table, they'd have to take that in to account, as tabled items don't crowd the map, so I think we'll be able to place a decent number of items outside.

Maybe smaller items that do go on top of others, won't add to the count.

I don't want a crowded island. It's a nature game, and I don't want to feel cramped like a city.

The Direct definitely showed the Player placing down a furniture leaf on the island, and a Lighthouse popped out. So this is likely the case. I could see the facilities being the 'new' PWPs as well.

Oh yeah good point, I thought the large telephone polls and satellite was an unspoken confirmation of PWP but I totally forgot we see a villager place something down as large as a Lighthouse.

Lol :D

I definitely feel the same though. The great thing is that there doesn't seem to be any kind of limit whatsoever on what we can place, as everything is now just considered furniture, including what would have been PWPs in the past.

I think in the direct Lloyd was at one of the bridges being built? maybe it is just new buildings / bridges and then everything else is crafted/bought? I agree though-- I really hope we are allowed to have more bridges too

i kind of feel like the pwps are being replaced with the notion of being able to place furniture outside - but the pwps might now refer to facilities, bridges, etc.

Yeah, this is definitely going to be the case. PWPs are basically Villager's homes, facilities, ramps and bridges.
