Wait- so you DID make that?
I'm confused. :S. Either way, if you did or didn't it's a cool picture. But I was raised to look negatively on cleavage...so...plus, I'm a girl.
Yeah, I can understand that, and I won't argue with you. Everyone has different philosophies. And I apologize for getting upset.
I just think there's an appropriateness for anything, and in the past 40 years, society has really looked down on what used to be "fine art". That being said, I'm not a pervy kid, and my intentions for drawing anything like that aren't either. There is a fine line between what is art and what's just "porn". They actually have figure drawing at art schools still today, though I haven't considered.
Anyway, I'm not gonna go into details. I took the drawing down anyway.

That guy is an artistic genius, and I get a lot of tips from him.
Yea. Back before things became perverted by film directors and the like, you could say and draw anything without it being taken dirty.
I wish I could have seen it. From what I remember, you were pretty good.
it's in this post, if you want to see it.

edit: @ kaleb
how is art shunned? you feel that most people prefer anime/cartoon-drawn work, when such could be said in the opposite way as well on the flip-side.
I'm not religious enough to remember why clothes exist, but I doubt it has anything to do with art not being everyone's cup of tea.
sex sells, and people have learned to rely on that, and from that point, reward it by paying to see movies because of that, etc.
and.. if i may go a bit rage/flame, for a moment.. i'm starting to get a little bit annoyed by how much you're trying to call yourself the underdog all of the time.. it's great that you have an opinion, and want to express it, that's not what i'm trying to say.. i'm trying to say that not everyone that lives in the 20th century is an oversexed unappreciative dumb ass that doesn't know about what's happened in the history books. there are plenty of people who appreciate vintage things, such as yourself (no offense intended, if taken), and i can understand how frustrating it can be when people don't agree with you on your points, but with that philosophy comes the acceptance that that time has come and gone, and not everyone has the same outlook as yourself. cutting yourself off from things because you don't agree with them is a huge mistake to anyone, myself included.
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>internal thought</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">at this point, i feel like i lose my train of thought. i really hope this paragraph isn't just flame. might as well post it.</div>
I'm not being a whole lot better in saying any of this, but oh well.
topic is now about generation gaps and the changes that come when they exist.
