If a future animal crossing anime seried had a crossover with One piece?

Imagine they make a cartoon based on animal crossing and it's an anime like the animal crossing movie but one day they decide to make a crossover with the anime One piece. I am a fan of One piece and I have watched the anime and read the manga so that would be interesting if they did.It might seem a bit strange but it could also work if executed properly.

I mean, it sounds like a kind of special crossover you don't see everyday and I can kinda imagine Animal Crossing characters like Tom Nook, Gulliver or Pascal interacting with certain One Piece characters. It may not be however an action packed episode then, since you know, Animal Crossing is not so known for being this. I guess it would be then more a typical "slice of life" episode.

could they make villagers that look like the characters in the anime and you can invite them to your town?

I think if this were ever to happen it'd be very much related to Chopper as well. Carrot too most likely.

I can't see this being a series, but I could see it as a oneshot promotional episode. It'd still be bizarre, but Smash wouldn't be what it is now if no one experimented.
