if we got a second island area

I haven’t figured out what I want to do with the space I have, but I definitely will want to decorate it as much as possible if we get more furniture i like. I would like to make an area with just food items (if we get more) — like maybe Whole Cake Island since I have a Wano area, Dressrosa, and the Partys Bar — all from One Piece, so I think Whole Cake Island would make the idea work. I still am considering making this area with what space I have but i am tight on space and may need to make adjustments.

i would like to make it like tortimer's island the more i think of it (if we dont get his island)

I've always wanted to have a meadow surrounded by a forest, and a big lake somewhere. There's no room on my current island but if we got a second one I'd make it a lot more natural like that. I get nostalgic looking at my old screenshots and videos before there were buildings and furniture everywhere.

What I would do depends on what we can do on a second island. Would it just be for decorating? Would you be able to move villager houses there or would it give you more plots? Could you have playable character on the second island? Would people that visit your island in person or in a dram be able go to the second island ?

I have a few ideas . It could be used for holiday decorations. It would be nice if we did get a second island we could buy more house plots. Maybe I will make a duck island. If we can only decorate it maybe make a few shops. Bakery , Library , Cafe toy store. Have a lake in the middle.

I have a 2nd switch with a 2nd island called "Twilight". Now as far as I am concerned with owning 2 islands both in different hemispheres its different and it feels unique. Getting different villagers and designing islands differently was a refreshing feeling to me to bring back the spark into playing the game. Which is why I Restarted my old island "Traverse" because I was fed up with it and changed it to "Destiny"

I am doing things different though. On Destiny (main island) I am collecting villager photos, not really paying attention to nook mile achievements and of course trying to breed every hybrid without time traveling. On Twilight (2nd island) I am collecting villager posters, trying to complete the nook mile achievements, only time travel if I need to relocate buildings or demolish/rebuild bridges and inclines, and finally trying to compete a catalog furniture with two of my favorite colors.

I know its a lot but right now its a whole lot better than I was expecting.

Give me more island! I would love to have another area to play with now that mine is done. I really do wish we could just start a new island with a different save file in the same game. I've learned so much, it'd be fun to have a fresh start.

I think it would be neat if the rest of Harv's island was open for terraforming. That way you could test things out and easily have space to build stuff whenever you want. And you could place villagers wherever so you can take cute outdoor photos without having to worry about them getting up or turning their backs whenever you whip out the camera.

First I'd cry because I haven't finished my first island yet...

Realistically though I'd be stoked as I hate the idea of finishing an island and then having to reset if I want to start over with a new theme etc, but I'm not holding out hope for a huge update like that though. I guess we shall have to wait and see what happens in the coming weeks with E3 and whether or not the rumoured big update will happen or not.

I don’t even know what to do with my current island. I basically plan and never actually do, so my island isn’t anywhere close to done.
