If I had something interesting to blog about and a desire to write about it I would. I don't really foresee those two conditions ever being met, however.
I really don't think it's likely that a blog function would get very much usage. People have plenty of social networking sites for such things.
a previous forum i was a member of had them, and no one used them for things they couldn't have just made a new topic about.
reviews and things would be best kept in topics so they would be more public in my opinion, and as trevor's already said, there's plenty of other networking sites that people can use to blog.
i guess TBT could try to compete with them.. but why would anyone want to blog on an animal crossing forum as compared to a blog site? :/
unless there was a reason to stick around, in which case, how many new users is a blog option going to pull in? and how's it going to effect the userbase? Psychonaut shudders thinking about the possibilities
