If You Could Change your Name, What would it be?

I don't know, really. My first name is common enough that I have frequent urges to change it. My middle name is better. I'd prefer going by it instead, but with the way paperwork is done here, most people default to my first name and getting them out of the habit is very difficult.

I thought about Adelynn, Adeline, or something of the sort, but I already gave that name to an original character, and naming myself after an OC just feels funny to me. On top of that, a cousin of mine has a similar name and I don't want that to cause problems with that either, since that's already one of the problems with my current name.

i think 'if you could change your name' is a bit silly because everyone is perfectly capable of changing their name. i changed my name because my birth name didn't suit me, and i wish it was more acceptable for cis people to do that. but i love the name i've chosen for myself, which is 'louis.' other names i considered were nate, jamie, tom, claude and cosmo.

I meant, as in instantly. A lot of people on here are way too young to do so atm/other people's families wouldn't let them do it and there's other stuff too.

I like it even more because my parents had the awesome idea to call my younger brother Eliott.
We have the same letters in a different order and it always blows everyone's mind.

I would change it to either Lucy or Alice. Not sure which. I like them both because they're very feminine and my name could be either a girl or boy name (Jamie), so I think the obvious femininity attracts me.

I'm fine with my first and middle name, but my last name bothered me for years. Mostly because it was so common (van den Berg), and it was my father's last name. I haven't seen my biological father since I was 3.

So a few years ago I officially got my name changed to my mother's last name. And now I'm pretty happy with my name.

I really like the female name Alma, thanks to the F.E.A.R. series (thanks Obama).
