In high school, the book selection in our curriculum was limited. One I've thought about recently would be researching, reading, and evaluating books for required reading for the English curriculum at high schools, and deciding which should be implemented (and how).
Anything under the instructional design umbrella, really!
I'd love to be a forest ranger or something. Living in Canada, spending all my days outdoors among the huge trees in the mountains doing all sorts of things.
Zookeeper, hands down. One of the most amazing things I've ever gotten to do in my entire life, was volunteering with the bird show at our local zoo. I'd love to do veterinary assistant work/wildlife rehab work again, too, or basically anything to do with animals & wildlife!
There’s a part of me that’s always wanted to make clocks. Can’t say why, I just think it’d be nice to make grandfather clocks, pocket watches, cuckoo clocks, etc.
I also love the idea of owning my own bookstore or being a children’s librarian
I've always wanted to be either a geologist or marine biologist, but I didn't go to college for a full degree (just GenEds) and have no desire/money to go back, so that'll probably never happen lol
I think it would be really awesome to be an archeologist. I love the sense of exploration, but also spending time learning about lost civilizations. It's so important to preserve that information, and learn from the past mistakes of the human race.
hm. i’m a bit torn between author and pet groomer; writing has been my biggest passion for so, so long and is incredibly therapeutic for me. but i think that i’d be really happy as a pet groomer, too! after getting to see this job firsthand during my co-op placement at a pet store, it seems like such a nice job to have! and plus, getting to meet a bunch of animals honestly sounds like a dream come true for me. :’^)
I would love to teach kids/teens how to code in a middle/high school setting. Currently I work as a software engineer, which I really enjoy, but eventually I think there will come a time where I just want to inspire youth to create something tangible online that anyone can use. The internet is an incredibly powerful tool, despite the fact that it is so commonly used wrong nowadays.
Anything that would make me a decent amount of money and can help people while doing so. I love helping people. I'd say being a streamer but I feel like I'm not always entertaining.
