If you could make an AC game...

How would it be?
Inspired by this thread.
Name is optional. Just think about the things you'll add and the ones you'll remove.

For me, I have some ideas.
Things I'll add:
-Being the mayor without Isabelle constantly telling you what to do ("no! you can't put this here because blahblahblah!")
-16 pattern slots per character
-More clothes in Able Sisters
-Bigger town (yush!)
-Gyroid exhibition in the Museum
-More character lenght for main character and town names (12 characters)

Things I'll remove:
-Club Tortimer (seriously)

I don't know how to name it. I'm not good at names :V

What about you? Let's see some ideas!
 
-Remove isabelle for a new character to take place, I like isabelle but it's always nice to start fresh
-Add more pattern slots
-Bigger town
-The ability to set rules for when people come to your town example, no running,not stealing ect.
-A grid like pattern for building so you know exactly where the project is going without having to talk to isabelle a billion times
-Improved Villager AI, more villager types, some special types would also have villagers example, Hedgehogs,Giraffes,Lizards,Otters ect.
 
-bigger player houses (I'd scrap the whole downstairs, basement, room to the left etc thing.) Instead, I'd add a hallway that yo will be able to expand and add rooms to.

-portable K.K. Music player (Enables you to listen to any kk song on the go instead of having to listen to the repetitive background music...)

-The ability to choose what species your character is! Imagine being an Anteater or Cat!

-Do what Harvest Moon does where there's a rural, sea-side and urban area of the game. (Imagine travelling to several different biomes, this'd open gateways to potentially more bugs and fish to collect! For example, a pine forest with more rivers and less grass, a desert-style biome with rarely any greenery in sight!)

-dozens of more public works projects! (And maybe give some furniture an "outside" feature as well. For example, you can build a "Garden" public work and you'll be able to personally decorate it with garden furniture, plants and whatnot.)

-and lastly, THE ABILITY TO GROW MORE PRODUCE! Fruit bushes, vegetable seeds, grape harvesting etc.

I'd call it Animal Crossing destination (idk..)
 
-Have the ability to put in actual path ways not made by placing patterns.

-Have a full on town editor for adding/removing rivers, hills, cliffs, and beaches.

-Maybe have hybrid fruit trees that have various types of fruit on them.
 
- way bigger towns!!!! or at least 20 villagers able to live there, its way too hard for me to decide which ones i want like seriously
- ok i think it would be really cool if like. the npcs also lived in town in their own houses maybe? or they had their own separate area to live in?? and when the stores werent open yet/were closed/they were taking shifts (like pelly and phyllis or timmy and tommy) you could go see them in their houses and talk to them like normal neighbors and generally establish a relationship with them idk if this would even work out but i think it would be cute
- able to actually date neighbors officially idc what anyone says i wanna be in an established relationship with lucky

- also more types of flowers i love flowers way too much
- yes gyroid exhibit it really should just be an official exhibit

- the ability to actually set town rules for wifi, like instead of just telling the person "dont run/dont pick up flowers/dont do ___" you can actually make it to where its physically impossible for them to do those things, like if they tried to hold down b it just wouldnt do anything
- being able to take a villager with you to go visit another town together ;7;
- sloth villagers please *prays to the ac gods*
 
I would add the things that you said, but keep Isabelle just cause I like the character. I would also keep Club Tortimer, because I like island hopping to get a bunch of different items. I would also add zoning permits. As mayor, you would issue zoning permits and get to decide where animals can put their houses.
 
I definitely think the Visitor Rules should be added, right below 'Ordinances'. Additional items include:
- Zoning permits. Before a villager moves in, Isabelle should say something like: "Oh, mayor! A new resident is moving in, how exciting! How about you help them find a place to settle down?". Similar to Public Works, you get to place their house.
- Fruit washing up on the shore! Similar to older AC games, your town will have a random tropical fruit that washes up every once in a while. It could be the same fruit every time, like a 'native' tropical fruit, or it could be random! who knows?
- Replace Persimmons with a palm tree fruit! We need more palm trees, and persimmons aren't all that special. Maybe this new fruit will sell for more than other fruits, unlike persimmon's regular tropical price.
- When you are building a Public Works, a green grid will appear in front of your character, the size of your public works. Any spaces the grid is over that can't have things built on them will be red. This prevents having to talk to Isabelle every time.
- Something to do with all the gyroids! The roost, the museum, ANYTHING to clear out the closet space.
-I'd be interested to see what new ordinances there could be... though what, I have no idea.
 
If I made an AC game..

Personally, I'd like more places to travel to, such as a busy city, a beach resort, a camping ground.

The City might include an opera house/concert hall, a restaurant, a mall. The Beach (much like the island) might include various activities like a board walk, an aquarium, and minigames (volleyball, tropical fishing, etc). The camping ground could be a place to meet other random characters, venture through the woods to catch bugs, and minigames (canoe race, fishing, etc).

Just an idea. I think the game is pretty versatile when it comes to designing your town. It'd be cool to have the freedom to actually design a town from the get-go, so that's an aspect I'd like to add.

One thing I'd like to see is other characters becoming more involved with the town, like having jobs as musicians, chefs, nurses. And from there you can discover new items and maybe if you get close enough to that character, you can create more PWP (concert hall, restaurant, etc).
 
I would want to be the secretary of the mayor in the next game, so that you could actually have power to do what you want -.-''
-less restrictions on projects. Idc if a house is 2 squares away..there's plenty of room.
-control where neighbors move
-more projects and more projects allowed in town.
-bigger map and 15 villagers.
-I like the idea of different areas in town somebody mentioned above.
-I think we need different kinds of trees other then regular and cedar and palm tree. Maybe a willow tree? That's my favorite.
-grass wear optional
-blathers needs to blather again
-constellations
-I think animals should live together sometimes. Roomies <3
-city return and also the shopping district too
-new species
 
It would be awesome to create your own game, with everything you want in it.
I'd introduce:
- New types of fruits, sent by Nintendo occasionally.
- New types of trees, and the chance to decide what tree put in the square.
- Remove desertification.
- Expand the shop district, with more shops and with places like gyms where the neighbors could go to.
- Bigger town, with stars on the ground, even during the summer.
- Possibility to decide where the new neighbors will put their houses.
 
If I made an AC game, these would be my changes:

- More fruit
- Region exclusives would be sent overseas
- Remove rocks
- Decide where villagers' houses would go
- The ability for it to be a PWP to add stuff to the Shopping District(other than Dream Suite and Katrina's)
- Much bigger town
- Editable map on the train(you would touch and drag things to switch them around)
 
There should of been a Gyroid exibit from the start. Seriously.

Want I really want is a true mansion.

Maybe 15-20 Rooms all the size of the Main room.
 
I'd make it gritty with a dark storyline, taking place in a dystopian future. and include a multiplayer deathmatch option. cant forget that.

-Different types of trees
-Ability to have at least 3 different projects going at once.

-Villagers telling you to take a rest
-Grass Wear
-Gorillas
