I voted yes. I think human civilization has "peaked" and now people are beginning to revert to their most primal characteristics, mainly greed and laziness: doing the least to get the most. I feel like more and more people just want to eat and take a **** on the planet and then leave the mess for someone else to clean up after because nothing is stopping them from doing so. It seems like very few people attempt to find a purpose for their lives or leave a positive legacy. I feel like modern technology and social media has enabled people to live in a "me-centered" world mostly oblivious of what other people are going through.

If I had the power to re-do the world, I'd try to instill in everyone that we've only got one planet, one shot, and all we have is each other. If you don't want to help make the world better for your brothers and sisters and future generations, then stay out of the way of those who do.

Who else would you consider then?

hint: it's the party with majority control of all America's major governmental branches

that has been pulling authoritarian level **** left and right since they got majority control

(and yes I know, "not everyone". but that argument doesn't mean **** to me when the clear majority of the party is perfectly content to go along with it if nothing else)

oh yeah, and on the question, nah

I'd rather just purge the awful people of modern society

Last thing I'm investing in this thread since its so toxic, but assuming we did reset everything, then what? If you're thinking "oh I'll reset everything but I'll remember everything from the past life" that's not what it means. Eventually, humans will evolve, every war that ever took place will happen again. Unless we want to live like brain-dead apes. The reason why we care about the bloody planet is because we've evolved enough so to realise the damage that we did. It takes learning something to not do it again. I think the next four years will be a prime example of why our votes matter and why we should make ourselves heard. Resetting everything would have to be repeating everything that happened to get to the stage where people do care and realise this.

Man, the hell did we do pre-1800s? Actually get along? Not fighting with other people on the internet? Shocking.

I don't know...what would we reset to? The very beginning?
I can't think that would be a good idea really. As bad as things are right now, we have come a long, long way in so many respects.
To start over and lose all the advancements...to have to live through times when people with special needs weren't understood and put in asylums, or where children weren't expected to live into their teens because of small pox or scarlet fever.
Would rather work on what we've already got now

im kinda glad no ones made an undertale reference on this subject haha good
i wouldnt reset the world. ive learned many things from both positive and negative attributes. resetting to gain world peace or to change things might create a butterfly effect. im not sure if i believe in that kind of stuff but its really interesting to think about.

Us as humans are too moronic and unintelligent to understand the "butterfly effect", all the "pros", all the "cons." If you want to reset the world then by all means do it... it might be an even worse world. If you have a problem with our world and society that it is now, then do something. Don't whine and moan about how poorly the world stands when you are sitting in front of the computer typing. Typing on a computer that could guarantee a few meals.

You already posted this...

Or maybe I'm using Mobile?

Assumptions are wrong most of the time...

- copied that msg and pasted to a friend.
- went back here to post a message here.
- started typing
- apparently I accidentally pasted, my original msg didn't save
- I never saw it till now.

I'm tired of people assuming things. That's what's wrong with you all. You make a big deal out of nothing. Like geez...

But you do the same thing quite frequently.

1. You assumed Badgrl2 was being insensitive about suicidal people on your "death" thread but it turned out she wasn't.

2. Even when she said she wasn't you continued to go on about it, even going as far as to insult her like you usually insult people.

3. You explained yourself so now I'll move on, bye.

I won't being going on this thread anymore sorry for going off topic and enjoy this weird thread.

I love how TBT is slowly making me sadder and sadder with the topics, lol. If we're talking like a complete reset? Like, from the big bang or whatever? Mm, sure. Maybe.
