If You Had The Power To Stop Time What Would You Do First?

Really, there's one of two things I'd do. I would either sleep, because being able to sleep without having to worry about going to bed or getting up at a specific time would be very nice, or I'd play some video games, since there's a ton of games I want to replay but there's limited time to do so normally.

Honestly when I first saw this I shrugged and didn’t really think about how cool freezing time would be but there’s so many possibilities? If I have the ability to freeze it for an indefinite amount of time and choose when it starts again, anyways.

1.) I’d freeze time when I’m baking/cooking things. I am a notoriously slow baker. I’m talking it takes me at least an hour to make pancakes, lol. Which is such a bummer because that means no pancakes on mornings before work! Or just lost time at night when making banana bread. But if I can freeze time while I’m baking that would be so wonderful.

2.) Going for walks would be so much nicer if I could freeze time! I wouldn’t have to deal with waiting for cars to stop, the awkward shuffle when you meet somebody on the sidewalk and you don’t know what way they’ll step, etc. Everybody would be frozen so I could enjoy a nice, peaceful walk. Bonus points if I can specifically choose to unfreeze one thing with me so that I can bring my cat for a walk.

3.) I’m seconding the people above who want to freeze time so they can enjoy reading or watching a show. No more “oh my gosh it’s already 1 am??” nights when reading and having to cut things short so I can sleep or having to choose what hobby to pursue over the criminally short weekends. I could enjoy everything.

4.) Pausing things at work. My job of choice is always going to be working with kids, which can get chaotic. It’s also not a job where I can just disappear for a minute to catch my breath/calm down like I could more feasibly do at my pharmacy job because I had coworkers who could cover me. With kids if I left without a replacement they’d be alone and if I did have a coworker that would put them out of ratio and just be super mean. So if I could pause time to have a moment to myself that would be so nice. It would also be so handy when trying to clean up after snack or crafts, getting the items out for crafts, setting up games/activities. Oh it would be the best because kids move so quick, lol

1. Sleep (small children with early schedules wreck this)
2. Make art / practice calligraphy
3. Play video games uninterrupted
4. Cook all the things I never had time for (a legit brioche requires an overnight proof)
5. Read uninterrupted
6. Watch what I want to watch
7. Learn guitar and cello
8. Jog/walk at 10am, where the light is perfect in the arboretum and there's no heat / mosquitoes yet gathered
9. Practice languages on my apps

I dare to dream.

This question is just too tempting because I feel like I don’t have enough time lately, there’s always something that needs to be done. I’d be able to do all of the things and still have time to be alone and watch anime or draw and not have to feel guilty about it.
