❄ ❄ IGLOO or TENT ❄ ❄

I just saw my first Igloo today! And it was super duper cute. I like it way more than the Tent. So, I was wondering which version everyone prefers~?

The Igloo is personally one of my favorite locations in Animal Crossing and I was really glad they brought it back in New Leaf. It looks beautiful from the outside and works in any kind of winter town. Its interior is very calming and has its own music track, one of my personal favorites.

On the other hand, the tent is fairly ugly, has no music, and no interesting features like the chowder pot. Overall just a very bland building, which is incredibly apparent when compared to its winter counterpart.

i just got my first igloo today as well! i think they are WAY better than the tents which, imo, are pretty ugly. even the lighting on them is beautiful!

Today was my first time seeing an igloo in my town and I like way more than a tent. The tent is just plain and ugly while the igloo is cute and has the pot of soup(?) in the middle.

Aesthetically, I think the igloo is much prettier. Unfortunately, it only makes sense in the winter. It's too bad that they couldn't think of something cooler than a tent for the other seasons, like a little cottage or log cabin, maybe.

The igloo is much nicer looking for me. However since my town is not meant to be a snow or Christmas town, the tent looks much nicer and pleasing to me.

Huh? I'm confused. Why would a tent be more winter themed than an igloo.... please explain

The igloo looks so warm and cozy and has nice music, the tent looks so bland & I wish it'd look better in my campsite-area!

Basically going to mirror what everyone else said! I love the igloo and especially the chowder soup pot. I love that it's centrally placed within the igloo and the visiting villager just look so nice and cozy chilling in their igloo with soup.
And I didn't know that it had it's own specific music track (Thanks MapleSilver!) I'll have to make sure I stop by to listen for a while next time the igloo pops up in my winter town.

Yep, I like the igloo so much better too. It's really cute and fits so well with the snow on the ground and trees.

I love the igloo in the winter.. But I also love the tent for the rest of the year. I agree that the tent is so bland inside but I personally still think it's cute <3 maybe I just get excited whenever I see someone camping in my town because I like to try to guess who it is haha.

I greatly prefer the igloo, it's music theme is one of my favorites in the game, and I just overall like it more as I love winter. (Though, I do quite prefer GameCube's version!) I like the winter exclusive items more than the tent ones as well.

I chose the tent because the igloo only works for winter, although I do think the igloo is better it's just not better all-year round.

Igloo! I love how it fits the snowy town, and that you can get the stew pot! Tents are nice too in every other season, though x
