So on my old islandmy villagers wore all the clothing Ive got them, nut now they just keep wearing their defsult stuff, sometimes my custom designs

I do sometimes see them in clothing i got them. Im pretty sure I maxed friendship with them, but its weird. If i time skip a year, then they all are. But right now they only wear my custom designs and default clothes.

My other question is why my villagers havent given me any nick name. We all got iut secret saying, catch phraise. But the only one who's given me a name is Raymond, the others haven't

On my old islands I had lots so its weird. When ever they wanna talk, is them asking to come over

I think it's random when they ask you to give you a nickname and as long as you have the required friendship level, it's just one more thing among several that they can ask you about. You've probably just been unlucky in getting that option.

Villagers are extra likely to wear custom designs iirc. They also randomly rotate between the different outfit options they have, so it's possible you're just not getting the clothes you've gifted them in the rotation. :/

Oh I didn't know they were ikily to wear custom designs, interesting, yeah its just so vonfusing if how I skip to like janisry they're wearing new stuff. then present time they only wear they're default stuff. Even though its stuff ive seen them in before.

So ueah.I was slightly worried it was friendship, but im pretty sure I maxed it out. More confused on tje names. because half the time they only wanna see my place, do a delivery, or so fourth. Only Raymond nick named me, but that was awhile back.

Mine is too. I wish they wouldn’t wear custom clothing. I’m going to have to change some of mine to basic ones when I have the time.
