I'm getting Nintendo Wii Wi-Fi USB Connector!

Why would you waste your money on that when you can get a much better alternative for wifi internet at half the price?

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the thread,

Hey Jas0n, I agree with you on one part of what you said as I have a working connection, but I purchased my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector so I can go online on my Nintendo DS games and it works quite well.

Good luck with that thing. LOL.

When it worked, it worked perfectly. But it has compatibility issues with Windows 7 and both my desktop and laptop run on Windows 7. Plus, even with older Windows, it only worked on my old laptop which was Windows Vista. Figures it would only work on that laptop, because that laptop hardly ever worked at all.

I think mine broke now, too. I'm not sure. =/

Please show me these alternatives. I'd like to have Wi-Fi again.

Any wireless router or USB adaptor will work with the Wii and DS also. Belkin & Netgear are the best in my opinion.

Do these other USB adapters work exactly like the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector?

I have wired internet (and am not changing). The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector worked perfectly in providing a Wi-Fi connection for my DS and Wii without any extra charges.

You can get a cheap wireless router that works just fine for Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection at Walmart for, like, $30. And it'll also work with any other wireless devices, unlike the Nintendo WFC USB Connector.

Wait, So you don't have a wireless router? What do you use to connect to the internet?

I have wired internet. I don't know about the TC.

The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector allows for you to create a wireless internet connection from your wired internet connection (specifically for Nintendo systems, of course).

It's perfect. I'm so sad that mine had to break.

I actually have a Linksys Router and it works really well. I would just go with the router because My USB connector never worked, so I basically wasted my money on it. Not only that, but unless a miracle happened, Nintendo stopped selling them a long time ago, didn't they?

Even with wired internet, you can still get a router to plug into it. Then you just plug your computer into the router, and put your wireless devices through the router. I have a desktop hardwired into my router with 4 other computers, 2 3DS's, 1 DSi, an iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, and 2 printers using the wireless (plus a possible couple others that I couldn't remember).
