Other than the top ones you mentioned watching like anohana, orange and your name violet evergarden made me sob for nearly every episode, so beautifully done. Clannad is also amazing, that one made me cry a lot too.
I also recommend Garden of Words! You might've already seen that one since you mentioned seeing other makoto shinkai, but I feel like it's such an underrated piece. Easily the most breathtaking artwork, and that scene near the end oh gosh my heart pretty sure I turned into a blundering mess ;;
