I just got into animal crossing this past December, so with New Leaf being "new" to me, I don't mind waiting. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely excited for the Switch game! But I'll probably wait a bit before buying it anyway, since I have quite a backlog and some games I'd like to replay.

I?m anxious for the direct, but at the same time I love my NL town so much that I don?t mind the wait.

If we don't see any news in the Spring Nintendo Direct than we'll most likely see a trailer during E3 this year.

I've been pretty calm about it and if anything new for it pops up in my feed or my friend hears something about it and tells me it, then I get a little more excited. I'm definitely patient for games because I know development doesn't exactly happen over night, but I am heavily looking forward to it! I do hope we hear more things about it, I haven't heard much.

Honestly, I'm more excited for Pok?mon Sword and Shield than AC Switch.

I'm not handling it well lmao, I'm waiting for the 15th since there's some speculation we may get news then but I doubt we will. Probably have to wait till E3. But the wait for this game is killing me

I'm OK with it now. Not hearing any news was bothering me before, but I eventually learned not to get my hopes up too much with any Direct they may have. Just got to be patient a little bit longer. If they don't announce anything this month, then we will definitely see it during E3.

When I first heard about the switch version I didn't care at all. I don't like the look of the Switch (heavy...), and I didn't want to spend the money on a new console just for one game.

Then this week I was playing ACNL and realized I had missed a lot because I had never heard of AC when it first came out. So I wasn't playing during the time it was most popular. Never got many street passes, never got any DLC from the post office, etc. I realized if I hop on board the switch wagon I can experience all of that! So now I am super excited, and it's extremely unproductive because there is no outlet lol. I guess I could buy a switch, but there's nothing else I would play on it until AC comes out.

I guess in the meantime I can just keep my eye out for sales on the switch! Also, I hope they come out with some other colors. The gray one is okay, but the red/blue handles are ugly. I would love an all-white console & handles in white or pastel.

Oh it's definitely nothing less than torture at this point. I know I should only expect to see AC at E3, but there's just that "WHAT IF" that won't leave my sad, desperate heart.
I think it's also driving me crazy because we've waited so long, that I've developed this anxiety that AC Switch won't meet our expectations.
I just have to see it, even just an in-game screenshot is fine. It'd ease this pain for me well enough until E3.
