Instagram problem

So I have notifications on and whenever I see someone request to follow me go go click the notification and then it's not there. I know they didn't unfollow me because one of my friends from school requested and nothing was there. I got over 10 follower requests and I don't see any of them what's happening

You have to request to follow you? I don't know that feature. Maybe it doesn't work properly. People just follow me automatically, and it just gives a notification saying that they started following me and then disappears once I look at it once. Are you sure it's a request?

If you turn on PRIVATE in settings, people have to request and be accepted to follow you. It doesn't affect the followers you already have, though.



In terms of the actual issue, I don't know how to fix it, unfortunately. If I find something out I'll be sure to come back.

If you follow (or request to) them before you accept their request, it seems to disappear (or that's what happens to me, at least) that should be fixed the next time you log in though. Have you tried logging out and back in? Also is your instagram up to date (updates and such)? If so it might just be a glitch, I'd try uninstalling it and installing it again.
