Interesting change for the official AC twitter account

After 2 years, the official Animal Crossing twitter account (run by "Isabelle") will stop providing Pocket Camp news and updates next month. For these kind of information, PC got it's own twitter account (run by "Lloid") now. Well, since they will not tweeting about PC anymore, about what else could they tweet now? Right, New Horizons. I will not expect any huge news right away in December, but this could mean "Isabelle" will now start to tweet more and more about news from NH, maybe about the desert island, Tom Nook's plans, you know, kinda like journal which gets updated every now and then till release.

Honestly, I would welcome it if they would now start to talk about NH, especially since it's only 4 months till the release. And I would enjoy it getting here and there some information about the game, even if it's just small ones. Those at least keep the hype alive. What do you think?

I am very happy about this news. I have been a little bit jealous for a while now that the official Japanese Animal Crossing Twitter account still talks about New Leaf, while the English account has entirely forgotten its existence. Hopefully with this division, the English Twitter account will return to focusing on New Leaf as well as New Horizons, and we can look forward to the official Twitter account talking about New Horizons for the next 5-7 years. Animal Crossing is such a slow-burning, long-play game that it is really deserving of this kind of dedication.

When they say publicity starting soon do you mean its just the change or will we be seeing new info come out soon?

Well, if you take a look at the twitter bio from the main account, it says "Stay tuned for more on Animal Crossing: New Horizons", so I assume after the change they will start to talk more about the game and I could imagine getting some new information in December sometime. After all, they give Pocket Camp now it's own twitter account so they can more focus on news about NH on their main account. How often we get news however is hard to tell, maybe they gonna explain it more in December once the change is completed.

Alright, it's December and so far... They still talking about Pocket Camp on the main account, huh. Well, didn't thought it would take them that long to do the change, and what's really weird is that right now both accounts tweeting about the same things, which is kinda pointless because why not putting the main account on ice for now till they start with NH news and focus fully on the PC account? Then again, reading the replies of the tweets on the main account is really funny, as everyone just asked where the NH news are and why they still talking about PC on that account. Let's hope they actually gonna change it up really soon and start talking about what everyone is waiting for.

It can happen anytime actually, my guess is that they maybe gonna start with it around the middle of December, as they may want to pointing out on the main account right now the current Christmas related event for PC to get more attention.
