Inviting Villagers to Photopia/Harveys

Does anyone know why you can use some of the special characters at Harvey’s Island? I was able to use Cyrus, Reese, K.K, and Redd. But not able to use Resetting, Harriet, Joan, Kapp’n, Lottie, or Lyle. It said they can’t come to Photopia. I was just trying to to collect their posters.

Update: I guess I spoke to soon. I went right to google trying to find out before I went back to the Island. Turns out I can still get the posters, is just says the characters are “too busy”.

I think it's because their character models aren't in the game (yet for some of them).

Yep, like Feraligator mentioned, these characters don’t actually have models in the game, so they’ll appear as “busy.” And yes, you’ll still get their poster.

In a few weeks it should be possible to invite a few more.
