Apple has recently released a new operating system. It is iOS 10. Can you already believe that? It's already that time of the year when iOS devices get a new version update.

I just updated my iPad to iOS 10, the same iPad I had since iOS 6 was mainstream. So far, I haven't encountered any new problems. I got to wait and see what others say. But I can say this much. I miss iOS 6 and its theme. I prefer these transclucent blue pop-up boxes than those opaque white pop-up boxes. The iOS 6 icon designs looked a lot better than iOS 7 and up. Now it's been four versions ago since we last had that theme.

What are your opininons on this new update? Do you like it, hate it, or are you okay with it?

Here is what I noticed about iOS 10 so far:

Control Center has changed. Now it has two tabs of command instead of one.
Frame rate of closing out and opening an app went up.
When you swipe to reveal the page on the left of the home screen, it no longer blurs out your background, but it does have a box to scroll through rather than a list.
The photos app layout has changed.

the emojis are pretty wacked, and it just changes the layout, so i'll wait to download it thanks.

I'm still on iOS 5, actually.

I have another one which is on 8 I think (is it 8 or 9? Not sure if they skipped a number like Windows did), but honestly I couldn't care less about it.

I updated yesterday and it's fine I guess. uh. It's a bit annoying that they changed the layout but I will probably get used to it soon enough so yyea hhh

why omg ....

not a huge fan of the changes with the emojis, but the new message features are pretty cool...overwhelming, but cool. i like how the notifications look now, especially on your lockscreen. not sure how i feel about the music app yet.

Eh, haven't bothered. Seems new updates drain more on old phones so I'm just stuck on something older but not too old I guess.

I haven't downloaded it yet. I'm always wary of new updates since I've had so many problems with some of them in the past, they've messed up my phone in all sorts of ways and I've seen a few complaints about this new one basically bricking the phone and having to do a factory reset on iTunes.
I've had a look at it online and it looks alright. Nothing major that I can see I will really use. I'm still getting used to the updated music section and I've had that on for a while now.not keen on the idea of the layout changing, I may well just download it tonight though I guess.

Emojis will take some time getting used to lmao...
I don't like how it dims your background. I don't actually mind the pick-up-and-turn-on feature. I won't miss the classic swipe to unlock, though. I can't seem to get the iMessage hidden ink etc. stuff to work. Also, pretty whack if you're texting someone, you can play music from both your phones. Hope no one trolls me in class... :]

i usually wait until the first update after the new ios so that i can get the version that has bug fixes, so i dont have it yet.

BLESS THIS DAY I CAN GET RID OF USELESS A P P S

thank you apple i never needed half the crap you gave me

I love the way notifications look now. They just feel cleaner. I kinda miss the 'slide to unlock' feature though, I keep forgetting that I don't unlock my phone that way anymore. I don't hate the emojis, but I prefer the old ones.

Just got the update late last night.
Lots of settings to work on, but I do like the notification changes.

I didn't know it was out until I got a notification on my iPad last night. What's so different? Is it even worth updating? My iPad was updated early this morning and I couldn't tell anything that was "new", haven't had time to do my iPhone yet. Most likely will look into it at some point!
