Is Animal Crossing a kids game?

Seriously, if he's so quick to judge a game based on looks then he's the child here. Only immature little kids will mock something they don't like or know nothing about or because it lacks the death, violence and sex aspects that so many video games these days hold.

Even if the target audience was kids, so many older people play it, it shows that it doesn't matter who the target audience is, just if you enjoy the game. My dad plays it sometimes(he's 37 =O).
It's just so darn addictive

What a butt hole! Why can't he accept that AC is just too awesome for his small, FPS only mind. I like FPS's, but they get boring!

Ok so I was on the phone with my friend and in the backround I was playing Animal Crossing, and he heard the music and he was like "are you still playing animal crossing" and I said yes, and I said "Why don't you try it?" and he said "because im too mature to play animal crap" so I yelled at him and told him tons of adults play this game.

He still thinks its a kids game and only non-mature people play it. I think he's an idiot.

Opinions on this subject?

I'm guessing he's more into games like Halo or some rated M game? So, he won't play it 'cos he wants to feel mature, and in his opinion, being mature excludes playing any game like Mario or AC.

Fact:
The majority of Nintendo's fans are adult and most of everything elses fans are under 18, this is because when those Nintendo fans were kids it was the big thing back then, Nintendo was pretty much on top until the playstation 1 was created, but that aside, I believe the rating is "everyone" not "kids only"

my mom plays it my sister who is 17 plays it i play and im 15(in june that is)
and my little sister plays it...so there you go all the age groups expet older than 50

Its not about "entertaining the kiddies" its about giving you a relaxed life away from stress, which everybody would LOVE my gran plays it just to get away from stress and stuff she thinks its great, and shes like 82...

I don't think that counts xD parents just play your games to have fun with you, I don't think they would buy AC on their own.
