Is anyone disappointed that Flick and CJ can't take model requests on other islands?

You can buy art from Redd, you can get DIY's from Celeste... Why skip out on these two? There are so many models to get in the game it takes forever to get them all.

The only way I know of (other than trading) to speed up the process is to make more residents on your island and have them request models. If you do that, you could potentially get up to 8 models per CJ/Flick visit. I don't know if you want to temporarily have that many houses sitting on your island while you collect them though. I know I don't, and that's the reason I haven't done it.

ugh i literally collected 3 of many sea creatures only to find out there are no models :/

Yea I did the same thing and still have most of them in my inventory. I was hopping that at some point they might add it. Doesn’t look like they will at this point.

I recently started collecting three of each sea creature, too, still need 6 more sets, I think, on the offhand chance they'd add the models in. I really wish they would. I was hoping they'd add a diving NPC like Pascal's niece or something along with diving tournaments and sea creature models. They could make it so you could give them to either CJ or Flick so Flick could make them. I'll probably hold onto mine for now, at least, and keep working on the ones I still need.

I have one more bug model (tarantula) and two more fish ones (stringfish and blowfish) to get. I made an extra character for more storage and had a third character for a while, too, to speed up getting the models, which helped a lot.

Really hoping we get the fossil miniatures from Cyrus, though those weren't shown, either, so probably not likely.

Yea I will be keeping mine for awhile now especially since we will have the extra storage space. A diving tournament would have been a lot of fun. It would give them the chance to add a new NPC. I still have fish and bug models to complete . I might not make one for all of them. The hardest ones for me is the Barreleye. I found one for my main islands museum. I can’t seem to find even one on my second island.
