Another thing that could help your stuff get noticed is having really good cover pictures.
I know when I'm browsing the network, sometimes I won't visit a house even if it's really neat looking, because the picture already shows the whole thing (this is less of a problem with multi-room designs).

The contest doesn't start until October 1st. When you open HHN, look for the "challenge" section on the top right. We'll get more details on Oct 1st, I'm guessin'.

P.S. you need to download an update to Happy Home Designer for the network to show up (check in the e-shop). After you've updated, Lottie should speak to you about HHN. You may need to have designed at least one public building before she'll raise the topic. (If someone can confirm?)

You only need to design something, be it a house or a public building, and then Lottie will explain HHN to you.

So after I unlocked the feature yesterday I visited a few places. You have to visit the places before you can vote on them. Lots of Japanese users made haunted houses multi level mansions, libraries, theatres, train stations etc.

I went and uploaded mine mid day yesterday, still no ratings this morning, are people simply not going online to see and vote? did they forget about the feature? it'd be nice see what people think... but I won't upload if it's not gonna be worthwhile. I'm not expecting much just something , anything

I wonder if people simply haven't built their 2nd facility yet or don't know how it works...I'm still figuring it out actually.

This sounds really interesting, but i do not have the game yet and i have no idea what it actually is. Could someone explain it to me?

Thanks guys, It's weird I haven't had Lottie mention it because I thought I did all the updates. I downloaded the game yesterday and it immediately said there was an update so I did that too, but perhaps there is yet another update?

I'm really really loving the Happy Home Network so far!! I've seen so many creepy Japanese hotels.. @____@ I dunno if you guys have seen it, but the popular one with all the freaky faces really creeped me out.

I think you have to do a certain number of villager and facility assignments before Lottie will bring up HHN? I just downloaded the update this morning, but I had ten houses and two facilities complete.

I like using the Happy Home Network. I like looking at what other people have done because it inspires me to do bigger and better things with mine. I don't have mine on automatic update because I don't like sharing my own creations until they feel done to me, but I have uploaded a few. So far, only one of my creations has ratings, but people must like it.
