Hi everyone!

So, my game is in French and the other morning I talked to Drago and he greeted me with "Bon matin" (literally "Good morning"), which is the Canadian French equivalent of the French French "Bonjour" (literally "Good day"). That is the only "Canadianism" I have caught him using so far, but I have not had him in my town for very long so it might happen in the future ^^'
Also, it might be a thing Lazy characters do. But I have never heard it from another Lazy character I have had in a while, Broccolo (OK barely talk to him because I do not like him but still ^^).

I was therefore wondering if, in the English version, Drago uses distinctive words of Canadian English dialect*? And whether or not it is a Lzay thing or a specific Drago thing? Honestly it would be so crack up to find out that Drago is actually Canadian, I find the Canadian French accent so funny (no offense to French Canadians on the forum! ) that on a dragon that would be super silly :D (I cannot help giggling when I picture Smaug from the Hobbit series with such an accent ah ah!)

* I am assuming that such a thing exist, I am not too sure of that but in New Zealand there are words and expressions we use that might sound odd outside NZ, so it does not seem to much of a stretch to believe that Canadian English could behave similarly.

As far as I know, villagers don't have any specific dialogue of their own. Drago's probably more Chinese than anything based on his house. Though the thought of Drago being French Canadian amuses me enough that it's now my new headcanon.

I would guess it is tied to the villager type! I can't point to any specific examples, but I'm almost positive I have seen a Snooty villager using a French greeting and a smug villager using a Spanish one at one time or another.
