The rise in Velma avatars has not gone unnoticed. lol

Totally fine if there is- I'm not poking fun- it's just something I noticed.

Now that you mention it, I have noticed a surge in Velma avatars recently. It's nice to see a less popular villager get some love.

I don't know why this is happening, but I'm kinda glad since she was one of my villagers I grew attached to early on.

When I joined this place I wasn't expecting other people to be fans of her either but it's great that there are other fans of her! It's great to see villagers who are underrated/unpopular like Velma get some love and I'm glad that she's been receiving it <3

i actually haven't seen many around but i'm glad she's getting the love! i had her in my new leaf town for a while and she was great (snooty villagers are my favourite) :')

dude i hated velma since gamecube b/c she moved in the most annoying spot ever next to a bridge and on top of it all shes a nerd

As the only other person with a Velma avatar that I've noticed (Hi galactickat4240!), I can't say I've noticed her getting any more love than normal. Though, she is great and deserves more love.

The only reason I hated her was because of the obvious 'Velma from Scooby-Doo' thing going on.

the reason some people hate her is probably the reason some people adore her. she looks funny, she's a scooby doo reference, she's nerdy and some people probably relate to her. personally, i could take her or leave her. but it's nice to see some unloved villagers get love!

Well said! I'm happy to see unloved villagers get love too, even ones you wouldn't think have a favorite have a favorite somewhere out there

I remember starting to be so vocal about liking her because I realized that she wasn't well liked. So instead of keeping it to myself, I decided to be vocal in hopes that other people will do the same for some normally unliked villagers. I love seeing not as popular villagers get love.
