Not at all, I think it looks good. If I had to change something, maybe the door is a little bit dark for the rest of the house, and I would probably go for a more homey looking mailbox style, but the blue of it is nice and matches the roof.

It's all nice and clean compared to mine where I dropped random items around it and didn't deal with them. Also I like that you have a different mailbox. I didn't remember it could be changed and I still have the default one.

I don’t think it’s ugly at all! I love how the roof and mailbox match, and I really love how the mushroom wreath compliments the color of the door. I didn’t even think of putting my house on the beach, that’s a great idea! I might have to move mine haha.

If you're sticking with the same style, I would recommend changing the door color to the dark blue version of the same style you have and the roof to any of the other blue options (it looks like you are going for blue being your accent color). I think the style of roof you have now clashes with the brick - in my opinion, the brick siding is more "fancy" and the roof is more "ramshackle/messy." They look fine together imo, but maybe that's where you are unsure? And the black door could be too dark for the colors you're using. Again, I think it's a cute house but might just be clashing styles that aren't sitting right with ya.

You could also use one of the lighter brown doors that has the fancy iron in the window - Nookipedia calls it the "Iron Grill Door," but I'm not sure if those names show up when you go to select them in-game or if those are internal names.
