Well I got my campsite and I got a pretty lame villager imo. O'Hare. Is he popular enough to trade?

I am legiit furious at the game right now. I got some pretty lame random move ins, and then I am denied Hans at the campsite. THis island has turned from an AMAZING start, to real crap in only a few hours.

In that case I might as well reset. Unlike the previous one where I lost a few days of work thanks to my brother's 'prank', this one was just under 5 hours. Hopefully the new one has Hans as my first camper.

is O'Hare supposed to be your first force move in? Cause I had Beardo and even when you reset, time travel to a new day, whatever...he's still there. It's THAT forced of a move in

Yes. You HAVE to move in your first camper.

Yes, so resetting to get O'Hare to leave won't do any good, right? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding your situation lol I didn't want to butt in but I wanted to let you know just in case you weren't aware that even TTing to the next day, O'Hare won't leave if he's the first camper

Is it really that big of a deal that O’Hare is not popular enough to trade for big bells? You can earn bells other ways or trade a popular villager you get later on down the line. Not worth resetting over imo. Just enjoy the game and don’t stress about what’s popular and what’s not. Not everything is going to go perfect.

Not worth resetting over imo. Just enjoy the game and don’t stress about what’s popular and what’s not. Not everything is going to go perfect.

It not O'Hare that's the problem. I had gotten Hans 3 out of 4 times, and was expecting to see him, plus I. I KEEP getting villagers I didn't want as random move ins. Marcie and Wendy? No thanks. Rex was fine, but not the Lion I wanted. I have reset and while not starting with a dreamie, this layout is almost identical to one of my earlier ones. Particularly the one my bro deleted.

Thanks. I should be getting his card soon (assumingmy parents order it along with the Ken, Chester, and Rory cards I asked for), so as long as I get someone tollerable I should be fine, but I would prefer to just get him from the campsite, and just have the card as a collectable. Plus I plan to get HDD at some point, and would love to get those four as soon as possible.
