Last year, I for sure thought that I would never consider buying this game. But I've realized that because I do play PKMN Go, I really want to give this game a shot, especially since I love the Kanto region.

The thing is that I heard a lot of people saying it's too easy, mostly because of the starters (I would probably put my starter away tbh), and that it is very watered down; and full price, I'm conflicted. The easy part does not really bother me, as the recent game have been pretty easy and yet I still enjoy those.

Here's what I want to know:

-Is the game fun even though it is easy?

-Is the PokeBall Plus worth it? Is the game better with it?

-Is there a decent amount of post-game content?

With Gen 8 coming out later this year, is it even worth it?

Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

I mean, the game's cute... definitely easy. Post-game content is pretty light imo, except for re-challenging gym leaders and Elite Four. And all the *insert Pok?mon here* master battles scattered around.

Oh, and the pok?ball+ can be used for Pok?mon Go, and get you Mew in-game.

I got it as a Christmas gift, and I mostly wanted it as something to play until Gen 8 was announced.

If you got yourself Meltan and/or Melmetal in Go, you can take them over to Let's Go and use them. That's kinda cool. Also, it sounds like Let's Go is the easiest game for catching shinies so far. So if you're a shiny hunter, you might like that.

A big downside of Let's Go, IMO, is that we don't even know right now if the Pokemon you catch in Let's Go will be able to be moved over to Gen 8.

I'd personally suggest waiting until Gen 8.

Personally I'm not too worried about transferring, as I've known it was specifically designed as a spin-off, but I see how that could rub some people the wrong way.

It’s cute and neat and all but not a ‘must buy’ game imo. There’s still a few months to go until sword and shield though, so if you do decide to get let’s go I’d play it now.
