Is the amiibo move out plot glitch fixed?

just saw a thing by a couple of gaming news sites that seems to say that it has been fixed in a latest update. thing is, is anyone willing to try it and find out? lol. But seriously that would make villager trading so much easier and i'd be pretty psyched for it tbh

People have been having an issue with the following situation -

Villager A is forced out for amiibo Villager B
Villager A moves out and Villager B moves in fine and dandy... but Villager B still has Villager A's housing exterior and not their own

I'm assuming this was fixed since the issue with this stemmed from the move-out/move-in glitch. I could be wrong though.
