So I've been gathering lots of nook miles tickets to do a dreamie hunt but I need an empty plot and I've been struggling to get a villager to move out in order to open one up. I've been timing travelling day by day for a while now and not a single villager has asked to move. Is there any method or pattern to getting villagers to move out or do I have to keep timing travelling and hope that one starts thinking about moving?
Is there a reliable way of moving villagers out?

You can try out how this user did it. Essentially it's random and there's lots of TT involved.

From what my friend has told me, she found it to be more beneficial to time travel a day at a time and collect the x2 and x5 rewards from the daily Nook Miles + stuff during the process, and on average a villager asked to move out every week or so (but sometimes it went 2-3 weeks without anything before someone had the thought bubble).
