Is there a way to get notifications sent to my phone? Or email? I've searched and I can't seem to find anything like that but it would be really helpful when trying to do trades and such so I'm not glued to my computer chair

Go to Settings > My Account > General Settings > Messaging & Notification > Receive E-Mail from Other Members.

I don't have this one activated, so that may just mean that people who are trying to get a hold of you but can't via this site have the option of e-mailing you. I'd go ahead and try that, though, and see how it works.

Click thread tools at thetop of the first post in a thread an it should take you to a new page. Click on "notification type" and there should be a drop down list that looks like this http://prntscr.com/3czpm0 . Click on the email notification type you want.

You can get email notifications for PMs, new thesis etc which you can then pick up on a tablet or mobile! It's all the the settings?
