Hi, I see people saying yes and no about this game and I'm not sure.. I'm going to buy the amiibos but I need to know if I should get the game though.

Personally I think it's a little too early to tell, and I'm a person who loves party games. Wait a little while longer, see whether you'll find some friends to play it with (let's be honest, this game will be really boring single player), if there's ways you can match up with people even if you don't know someone to play with in person.

Okay, I guess I'll wait a bit. I mean I watched the little gameplay video and in my opinion
It looked kinda boring and the youtube dislikes are more then the likes thats pretty funny x'D
the dislikes will probably grow in time.
Then again I don't want to judge a game I really know not much about.
I just needed another persons view on it. Thank you. ^_^

It looks pretty lame if you ask me. Just Animal Crossing themed Mario Party.
I want to buy the amiibos though.

if you like mario party then you'll probably like this game, but it's not out yet so no one is 100% sure

There really isn't much known about the game atm. So it's best off to wait until we know more info about it before you make any decisions.

Look back to when HHD first got announced. So many people thought it'd be a free eShop title with little content when it first got announced, but as more info got revealed, it ended up getting a full retail release and actually looks good. So it's best to wait a bit imo

Thanks for all the replies :D
so, I'll ask again when I learn more about this game. It is free so I'll probably try it out, I am after all buying the amiibos.

If you're going to get the amiibo, and assuming it IS indeed a free download then there's little reason not to at least try it. You could play for an hour, use your amiibo (they might not have functionality in any other games) and if you like it, great! Keep playing.

If you don't like it, then no money lost. You can just not play the game anymore.

The thing that makes Mario Party is the mini games and competitiveness. There really isn't much of a competitive aspect to this game as it is all 100% random and there are no mini games.

That being said, the board game part is not supposed to be the only feature. You should probably wait until near release to decide whether or not it is worth getting (and the price).

Too early to tell. It's clearly going to be forever compared to Mario Party---the question is, is it Mario Party 1-4? Or is it Mario Party 7+? If it's the former, then it's going to be an ass-ton of fun. If it's the latter, it'll be garbage. Only time will tell.

The only mario party game I've owned was mario party 10 and it's really not that heavy on the mini games it's also very random but not totally out of hand if ur good at timing ^^

I think it will be really cute and a nice alternative to the Mario party games. People should play it first before deciding if they don't like the game or not. I'm defiantly getting a lot of the amiibo figures that go with the game and I might as well get the game too. It doesn't look bad and it looks cute. People should give things a chance more often. It also shows your support to the people that make animal crossing and helps give them encouragement to create more fun games for us in the future.

If I remember correctly, this game should be released sometimes during this year's holidays. And we still haven't heard much of the game aside of being a shallow and simplistic board game as shown in E3 2015, if not one of the modes.

Wait for one or two Nintendo Direct broadcasting(s) in the coming months and they should have further revealed more game modes. Who knows it might have more potential than we initially thought, but it isn't something I would be holding my breath for. However, if you only get enough Animal Crossing amiibo cards for a four player game rather than four amiibo figures and just download the amiibo Festival for free (if that's a thing), then this might be the cheapest alternative to Mario Party 10. What a steal!

Well, even if the game looks like shiat,we need to wait and see if the game is really a piece of sh!t or is decent

My brother and I are both OBSESSED with AC. Therefore, we are pooling our money together to buy the game and two amiibos (Tom and Digby). My mom's even gonna buy us a Wii U!

From what I've seen about the game, you're probably better off getting Mario Party. Then again, I don't really know much about it apart from the fact that it's similar to Mario Party and you need the AC amiibo to play, so...

I don't think it's really worth it, but that is just my opinion.

I will not be getting it, it doesn't seem like it really seems very interesting :/ I want a new animal crossing game not mario party
