Mafia Island Madness - Town Wins

Ace trying to push me as a wagon is just...noted. He already has a locked vote there on me from shawo so it's a secure wagon to push.
I'm beyond sad by your game, you are a pro, and you are going for the LHF. :(

i mean.... you're not wrong LOL

i think i've been extremely clear that i have nothing to say d1 typically bc all it does is get me in trouble :~) so.... yea i was mostly trying to help out by giving my insights since glow asked for them and everyone else was contributing. so... yea. also tbf re: volt/cake i thought it was cake but i remembered seeing volt in thread more so i thought it was more likely that volt said it.

You don't typically care about it getting you in trouble

I don;t know what I can do to get myself outta here now.

Ace has been pingponging to different wagons is so weird like... even you defending me as town is not going to make me not sus you

And someone's vote is also going to be blackmailed today so...

All I can say is Dinotown write me some good story lol

As soon as Tom turned to walk back to the town hall, with Isabelle following close behind, her face looking slightly green, it was none other than Vesta who sprang into action.

“What are you just standing there for?” She asked the crowd of shocked faces, who still stared after Mr. Nook. “We should be talking about this! It could be any of you lot! You! Or you!” She pointed towards Dobie, then Poncho.

“That’s out of line,” Raymond said, stepping forward. “You can’t be accusing people out of nowhere. We need to think about this properly, try and figure stuff out, not offer up a random neck for the chopping block.”

“Maybe we can not start arguing like this? It won’t help,” Pietro said. Stitches nodded in agreement. Vesta sighed.

“Okay, Raymond’s right. But you heard Tom. Playing his little game is our only chance of surviving.”

Cherry was the kind of girl who posted cute selfies on FaceNook with the caption ‘#iwannadie’, but in reality, she was very, very scared of death. When the group put her forward as the choice for the elimination, her adrenaline kicked in and she ran, running in the opposite direction as far as her legs could carry her.

“Where are you going, idiot?” A voice called out after her. “We’re on an island, where could you possibly go?”

Cherry didn’t listen, she kept running in a straight line, through the town, through the woods, out onto the beach, not stopping until she was waist-deep in the cold ocean water.

“And what do you plan on doing now?” A voice asked. Cherry turned. In the lifeguard chair back on the beach sat Tom Nook, a pair of binoculars around his neck and a rifle lying across his lap.

“How did-”

“I know all of you far too well, Cherry. I knew you’d run. You coming to the west beach was a stroke of luck, I will admit, but even if I was wrong, you couldn’t have gotten far.”

“N-No, I-I…”

“Go ahead. Run. I’ll get you anyway. Or you can stand there and take it like a big girl.”

Cherry paused for a moment. Tom took this as her steadying herself, but as he shifted his rifle, she turned and ran a little deeper, diving into the water and vanishing beneath the waves.

It didn’t matter. The ocean was mostly clear, and the waves were calm. She felt the bullet pass through her and saw the waters turn red in front of her. The last thing she remembered was the stinging of salt in her wound and the sight of a large finned shadow heading her way.

You now have 24 hours to submit any night actions. Day 2 should begin at 4pm EST on the 23rd - night kills are a little harder to pre-write depending on when mafia submits their kill so if I am late I apologize. If I am severely late, I will amend EOD/EON time accordingly.

That night, Daisy couldn’t sleep. The lights stayed on, and she sat on her bed, her knees pulled into her chest, hugging herself.

She thought it was a joke. She thought it was all a big prank Tom had been pulling on them all. Or some kind of moral lesson about herd mentality… but… he killed Cherry. She heard the gunshot. Once Tom returned, she’d slipped away to the beach… saw the red in the water. Saw a scrap of spiderweb-patterned fabric washed up on the sore. It was real, it was all real.

She didn’t know what to do. She was far too frightened to sleep. Maybe… maybe if she just turned off the light… she’d drift off naturally. Her door was locked… no-one could get in.

She reached over and pressed the lightswitch. Click.

Still alive? Still alive. Okay. Okay, Daisy, calm down. Just… close your eyes. Go to sleep.

Something creaked. Panicking, she reached back for the switch. Light flooded the room… but she was alone. Okay, stop overthinking this… just… back to sleep.

Creak.

Her eyes scanned the room, but she still couldn’t see anything. She sighed and got up. Maybe a warm drink would help her calm down. The floor made noises under her feet… probably just furniture settling, she told herself.

She made herself a drink and stood staring into the blank screen on her TV.

Creak.

Nope. Nothing. Just furniture. Ignore it.

The figure that appeared behind her reflection in the TV was hard to ignore. They were dark, wearing a cloak that totally hid their face, but Daisy could just make out the shape of pointed ears beneath it. Her cup fell from her hands, clattering to the ground, staining the carpet brown. She turned to the figure, hoping to get a better look, or even better, run away, but she was too late. Whoever the intruder was, they plunged a knife into her stomach. Daisy looked down at herself, seeing the metal protruding from her body. She let out a pitiful, helpless little whimper. Red mixed with brown, tinting the carpet the colour of death.
