Issues donating to friends museums?

Hi all,

I've had two occasions in which I traveled to a friend's museum to donate an item (I'm sure) they havn't recieved already, but a prompt doesn't appear from blathers that allows me to do so. Has anyone had the same issue? Has anyone been able to do so successfully?

No one but the residents of a town can donate to their museum.

If I had a friend try to donate to museum, I'd smack them. It's my personal responsibility to curate materials for Blathers to put on display.

^ same. I'd be sooo upset if someone else donated into my museum.. it would take away my own sense of accomplishment. I'm glad visitors aren't able to. I'm sure the thought is nice but I'd rather do it all on my own hehe
