Hello all! I am hosting a drawing competition in which all you have to do is draw your favorite Animal Crossing character or a scene relating to Animal Crossing. You have until January 30th to enter.

ATTENTION: Before you read any further, please make sure you are a resident of the USA because the grand prize is unfortunately region locked as far as I know. Also, please be sure to have at least a Wii or a 3DS in case you win the grand prize.

Rules:
Do NOT use other peoples work
You may NOT use a computer except to upload your work when it's finished
Hand drawn only, this includes painting (no computer drawing tablets allowed)
Please wright the name of the character you drew on your post or on your drawing somewhere.
Be original
Have fun

Post the image to this forum when you are ready, remember you have until the 30th

Here are a few ideas to get you started if you are having trouble:
Draw an animal with/using a tool
Draw an animal laughing
Draw an animal with your character
Draw an animal doing something funny (fell in a pithole?)
Draw an animal at a festival
Use paints, crayons, pencils, markers, food dye etc.

Prizes:
First place:
One Wii or one 3DS redeemable code for
Dr.Mario Online Rx (Wii) or,
the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Wii) or,
Kirby's Dream Land (3DS) or,

This sounds pretty fun (drawing fanatic here)! I'll try to come up with something if I have some extra time.

Probably wont be entering. Suck at drawing, but I like the idea.

Hmm, I may partake in this. I'm pretty bad at drawing but worth a try. Also I can't find anything on the Club Nintendo game pages indicating the codes are region-specific.

They may not be but I am almost sure they would be since you cannot buy a Wii in America and expect games from outside the country to work. I think it works with codes as well. If you find out there is not a region lock let me know, then everyone would have a fair shot at winning what I hoped to be the grand prize.

Do the character have too look really much like the AC character? Drawn a few animals lately..

I've had someone from across the ocean come to my house in Animal Crossing:City Folk before, so I don't think it's region-specific.

Also, may we enter paintings? Or is it pencil-crayon drawings only?

@Fillfall You are allowed to make the character as realistic or as cartoony as you would like. Be sure to write the name of the character somewhere on your post or on the drawing when you post it up though.

@ jebug29 Wifi isnt region specific but hardware and games are usually. Anything you can draw/paint is fine, just as long as it isn't computer generated. You may use paints, pencils, markers, crayons, food dyes, etc.

Do we have to scan the drawings, or can we take a picture of them?

I just took a picture of mine and cropped out the drawing, but it probably depends on which looks better. I think you can do either one.

Ahhh... i was so going to join but i read the rules. I planned on coloring with my PC :p. I have no good coloring tools and the scanner i have makes the picture i scan look dull. So i'll sit this one out (maybe... XD)
