Since April-ish, I've been on the hunt for Dom. I don't really want to pay tickets for him because that sounds weird to me (and I have the villager I'd pay tickets for already anyway), and over the months, and numerous hunts, I've started to lock in my island for the time being as I'm finding tons of villagers that I adore. The other day was my most recent hunt, which set me back nearly 300 NMTs (I'm loving Apollo so far though). My ticket supply is starting to run low, so I may need to take some time to rebuild my supply. All of this brings me to my current dilemma.
A few months back, I asked you guys, gals, and anything beyond if I should let Julia move to my island after seeing her at my campsite. Over that time, I grew to enjoy her presence and I managed to snag her photo some time ago. She's a welcome sight, but as I run out of villagers that I'm willing to let go for my Dom quest, I know that one way or another, she's going to have to leave my island now that I have another snooty in Judy. However, in a quite ironic twist, Julia's future is on the line now as I found Maple at my campsite today. The last villager I got rid of was a normal and I already have Fauna, so I'm not sure if I want to go back to having two normals, especially when I'm still looking for the elusive ironwood dresser. I still LOVE Maple though and I've run into her numerous times on previous hunts, and she's made me stop to consider her more than once. I'm thinking that it's a sign that I need to claim the cub and let Julia go to atone for my sins of turning her down during my hunts. Problem is, if I let her go, the only villager remaining that I'm open to letting go of (for now) is Elvis, which means that letting Maple move in means that's one less shot at finding Dom.
Do you think it's worth letting Julia go in favor of Maple? Should I turn down the cub once again for an extra shot at Dom? Or, perhaps if you can make a strong enough argument, I'll consider letting someone else go. My villagers are in my signature. All help would be appreciated.
