punchy has promised that he'll 'carry town' tomorrow and i'm interested to see if he'll actually deliver on that. sensai seems to be fairly resigned to his 'i'm not motivated' excuse and isn't really showing any sign of trying to become more motivated any time soon

just thinking my POE out loud, i didn't say specifically on the punchy train i said that within the pool of people who had voted for either of the two wagons (punchy and sensai) there was likely to be at least 1 scum

i know that it's controversial here to lynch stronger / more experienced players but i'm still really against that sort of framework because it just... thats not how you should play imo, and i still affirm that despite MLing strong townies lmao

like, i understand it is a hit but hitting mafia is more important so unless i feel a reservation i'm not gonna ignore my own reads

Honestly I've got no clue at this point. This whole debacle has thrown me off way more than I anticipated.

I'm not narrowing it down to us three, I'm just quoting what Epona said in that she feels there is scum between the 3 of us. My point being is that I townlean you and sorta townlean Aerious, but it does kinda bother me that Aerious settled on Sensai after arguing with Toads for like 5 pages. Her response to me made sense and I think it was in accordance with what most people are thinking, and I think that she has a genuine tone going for her.

In terms of townreads though, I lean town on Daniel/Toads/you/epona/mayor leaf for reasons I've stated and points that have been made about this pool.

my (hopefully) only wallpost for this game incoming:

I care more about potential disagreements than the specifics of the number today, TBT is noticeably mechanics weak, especially given the fact that this is a setup where there is an optimal line given the circumstances.

i dont like shawo's playstyle but i want to make sure that i'm not letting that influence my seeing them as mafia. posts like these just aren't helpful and it comes off ~holier than thou~ instead of town.

Ace let me beat the dead horse,

If we lynch town today, what information did we get? They are town. that's it. We can go around beating each other to sus each other but it will only be a bunch of town vs town, mafia vs. town, discussions...

But I think night is more valuable because it gives us a chance to deduce why mafia killed this certain townie.

i think we can afford a wrongful elimination though, why would you prefer no elimination?? we could at least get maf leads if we eliminated a towny.

this is minor but this post from sensai struck me as interesting since it wasn't directed at them.

i've noticed this game that daniel is really critical of others but in a way that feels different to when he was playing town last game. i'm sussing.

I can’t make a full “don’t vote for me” argument because I can understand why you would. I am not saying that I am scum, I’m town alignment, but I can’t tell you to not vote for me when I would be okay with you all voting for me. I of course don’t want you all to lose but I’m not having fun so if I go out I’ll be fine with it.

this seemed genuine to me. willing to null with thee slightest town lean. hoping things lighten up in the nighttime onward.

punchy is sus but only because of how forward their posts are. on the one hand its great but it also reads like facts instead of explanations for why something is.

self vote from sensai is stupid, but i also dont have the biggest susses on them and i think they're just trying to convince us that they're really town. will take a closer look at their posts in iso but i want to finish catching up first.

knowing that mafia is a game it strikes me that toads/aerious/ace/shawo are all going around in circles with each other. re: @glow 's question, i'd vote for any of those four just on the total derailment of scum hunting that they've caused.

i don't like this, there's still 2 hours left in the day so why are you making it between you and punchy if you claim you're both town? suggest somebody else for us to vote that you think is scum. give an alternative. this AtE is fruitless

??? i settled sensai bc, as everyone stated, there was too much emotion to reasonably conclude/interact with toads. i'm still scum-leaning on him, but i'm not going to d1 vote someone bc of that

after sensai's answer, i'm rethinking. there's no way sensai isn't town after that. i said i was leaning between punchy/sensai -- and sensai seems inno after that rebuttal, but i want him to give his actual thoughts on the game (no parroting) before i swap
