Possibly, but I thought Wii games had already been down to a close, back in 2017, or around that timeline.

I guess this will not be the last game, as I also found on Twitter a good explanation of why
the Wii still gets games such as Just Dance:

My Wii went to the nackers yard years ago, very suprised they're still producing games for the Wii. My first thought is it might be for the Wii U and not Wii?

On one hand I'm surprised they would make a game for a system which has been around for over a decade, but on the other hand it does make a little sense. Since the Wii sold so well, perhaps they think it's possible to still capitalize on that market of people who never upgraded to a Switch. I can't say whether that ends up being worth it in the end, but I can see their logic. They'll have to really market the fact this is a new game since the Wii is such an old console now. If people are still making games for the system today, I'm willing to bet this won't be the last. Definitely one of the last, but not the last.

Please kill the Wii

Am I the only one who didn't like it omg

Most games on it were only okay to me

SMG was fun but still the whole pointy stuff was ew sry

No, just dance 2020 will not be the last Wii game. They will keep on making just dance games on the original Wii.
1. Its kind of a tradition for them to keep releasing a Wii version of the game. I mean it was born on the Wii and was highly successful, not as successful right now as it was back in the days.
2. People still buy those games on the Wii. I have been in the just dance community for years and I've seen many people using Wii to play those games and that's one of the reason ubisoft releases JD on that platform. It's business.
3. " MANY HOSPITALS AND REHAB CENTERS USE THE JUST DANCE GAMES TO HELP PATIENTS WHO HAVE LIMITED MOBILITY DUE TO ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS BUILD UP STRENGTH AND MUSCLE TONE, ETC.
THESE HOSPITALS PURCHASED WIIS FOR THIS PURPOSE AND ARE STILL USING THEM TO THIS DAY!" Source: https://gamerant.com/just-dance-2020-wii-e3-2019/

It's kinda annoying when people are like "it's coming to the Wii wtfff blah blah" probably should do some research first smh.

Well yes it makes sense you're right but I'd still like to see the Wii die :lemon:

The Wii's already pretty much dead. All of its online services are now gone, including the eShop. It's only Just Dance (and maybe some other series - I forget) that is keeping it going.

I thought they were done making games for the wii years ago??

I didn't even think they still made wii games

Nintendo is still making Wii games? Whut? I thought they stopped once the Wii U came out.

Hardly anyone plays Wii anymore, I only play it for a few ganes, because it's one of my fav systems and the Switch didn't have backwards compatibility.

Wait, the Wii is still going? Wow, it outlived my console itself, which I got around release year and randomly died about 3 years ago and I haven’t been able to fix it. I hope it’s not the last game the Wii gets. Having your last game be a Just Dance game is honestly a sad way to go out nobody deserves that.

The 'last game' for most consoles is usually some low effort trash like a sports game or something...Which on one hand I find odd since publishers will moan about having to dumb down games for the Switch, but they'll release turd versions of turd games on 2 generation old systems. On the other hand, they're games that never really change from one to another so it really can't be that hard to dumb them down compared to, say, DOOM which actually had effort put into it. I imagine it's because a lot of the fans of these games aren't gamers, they just got 'console' to literally just play football games or have Just Dance at parties.

IIRC the last game for PS2 was Pro Evolution Soccer *insert year*. PS1 was Fifa *insert year*. I think Gamecube was some NFL game, probably Madden *insert year*...Consoles usually go out with a fart.

...Wow, I didn't know people still were making Wii games...
I was shock about the Wii Shop still being a thing before it closed down.

Didn't know Wii games were still made, but it's nice seeing that they're still made. Especially for usage in physical therapy, hospitals, rehab centers, etc. :)
