I am loving this game. Sure have had a few....incidents with resetting, but I am happy with my current line up of villagers, island layout, and fruit. I have a big time favorite of mine wiith Hans. The new furniture is nice and while I have the clock set a few days ahead (just trying to fill up the island, will not travel forward anymore after I am done, I will keep the clock there until I catch up, and will not go more than a week ahead. After that no more TT for me. I am not going to go back ever, just forward until I have 10 villagers or I am a week ahead)

I want to say that this game, is so far not as amazing as New Leaf, but at the same time, I still HEAVILY rank it above the other games like Wild World, especilly Wild World. I am loving the crafting system and new Shell Furniture. There are some issues like the breaking tools, but overall I can't fiind much to complain about.

Is it my favorite Switch game though? Nah. I think overall it's still Okami HD (My all time favorite game), and for originals I think Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order still ranks above Animal Crossing by a large amount. Not only that, but I have quite a few games I still rank between them like Xenoblade 2 and Smash Ultimate.

Overall, it's not in my top 10 Switch games, but certainly in the top 20 for me.

i feel you about wild world - it was a great game but was severely underdeveloped compared to the other mainline games so new horizons has it beat there, at least lol

I got the shell bed recipe from a balloon, thats all I know.

BTW, as far as placing this game in a top 20 Switch games, its definetly in there, I can`t think even of 20 games for Switch I rate highly enough to complete such a list. I think its easily in my top 5.

I actually prefer this game over New Leaf.
As someone who is into Graphic Design, graphics are extremely important to me so after playing this game, I don't think I could go back to New Leaf (even though it was my favorite game for so many years).
I actually like the crafting system. It gives me more to do throughout the day and I enjoy completing my daily Nook Miles tasks.
I just hope they fix the glitches because there are still areas I haven't explored - like trading villagers or importing my amiibo villagers, etc.
And with the new updates added, I'm sure it will be my number one game for many years to come.

Agreed - visually this game is gorgeous.

And I think a lot more content will be added throughout the lifecycle of New Horizons.

Game is gorgeous in every way. As far as replayability, it's my favorite Switch game, hands down. Frankly, I bought a release Switch in anticipation for this game, but ended up buying the AC Switch, because, well, this game is life.
