I'm wondering what TBT personally thinks of this K.K song
I see a truckload of people saying this song is really creepy sounding which is understandable however I'm wondering if I'm the only one who likes K.K Hypno and finds it to be a relaxing song
K.K Hypno is actually intended to be a lullaby it's Japanese name is "Dozing Dream" and it's English name reflects this with the suffix "hypno" which is related to sleep
Two sleepy themed lazy villagers Jeremiah and Sherb play this tune in their homes as well
What do you think of this song? How does it make you feel?

I love Hypno K.K., it's one of my top favorite K.K. Slider songs. It has a delightful air of unease to it. I don't find it disturbing, but I feel like it kind of gives off a weird vibe that I find cool.

My favourite K.K song! I wouldn't call the song disturbing, but it does have a foreboding, uncanny atmosphere to it unlike any of the other songs.

To me it sounds like how static on the TV looks. Not creepy on its own but still just unusual enough that it makes you stop for a moment.

I like K.K. Hypno. I think it does have a bit of a haunting or melancholic quality to it, but that's what I like about it. I could see it being used as a lullaby.

Whenever I visit Sherb, or he invites me over, hes always playing it, so I hear it alot lol.

But in terms of the song, I really like it. I like the creepier songs, but like you, I also find it relaxing. Im also a big fan of the violin sound, it comes together perfectly.

Swing, will always be the creepiest song in AC for me~

I think this song. One can find it soothing or disturbing based on their current mood. It reminds me of something that would be played in a haunted mansion.

i always love songs like these for some reason, that sound slightly eerie and off-putting but also has elements of more soothing or upbeat music in it, i just dont know how to explain it. but i do love kk hypno, its ultimately one of my favorite kk songs, whether it makes me scared or sleepy i love to listen to it either way.

i think it's beautiful but in a kinda haunting way? like it definitely has an eerier sound to it but i don't think it's disturbing. spooky maybe? it kinda makes me think of cute little ghosts hanging out together and having fun playing games

It depends on the version. The aircheck is a little creepy but mostly happy. The live performance sounds somber rather than scary or silly.

I find this song very unnerving. ; ; The only other video game song I find creepier is the Alien Attack theme from Zelda Majora's Mask, which you would expect from one of the darkest games in the Zelda franchise.

I like it, I think it has a nice “old timey phonogram” sound to it. I can see how it would be relaxing. That being said, I can also see how some people might find it creepy, because it also sounds like a door should be creaking and someone with wide eyes and a cheesy grin should pop around the corner or something

I'm mixed on Hypno K.K., depending on what version of the song it is. I do like the live version—I'd say it leans more towards "soothing", but it has a sort of mysterious, otherworldly quality to it as well.
I don't really care for the sound of the backwards notes in the aircheck version. It's not quite what I'd call "creepy", but maybe more along the lines of... "uncanny", I'd say? It's not quite enough to disturb me, but I don't find it pleasant either. It's got a unique vibe to it, but it's not really something I'd find myself in the mood to just listen to.

Now, the music box version... that one's a little creepy if you ask me, but in a rather pretty way. It sounds kind of sad at the same time too; maybe a touch more "bittersweet" in the latter half.

the aircheck version gives me spoopy, eerie and halloween vibes. mixed feelings overall
though one much prefers K.K. lovers 😌

Since its inclusion in that infamous creepy New Leaf town Laika Village, I can understand where people are coming from with the whole "creepy" feelings it gives them 😅
This song to me feels like a weird dream, almost like that state were you're starting to doze off but still clinging onto being awake; just kind of like an unreal, trippy, dreamlike haziness

I personally don't hate Hypno K.K. in the slightest, if anything the creepy association thanks to Laika Village makes me like it MORE 😂

I like KK hypno a lot, it's one of my favorites and it's popular for a reason. Personally I find it soothing, but I could see how others would find it unsettling especially depending on the context that it's being played in. The song isn't aggressively creepy but has a mellow tone to it. I really like the cover too. KK's face is up close and it has a blue tint, makes for simple but stylish wall art.

I love this song, I don't know if it's relaxing or not, but I find it super cool and I like listening to it. The same thing happens with the Pokémon Lavender Town song, it's undoubtedly creepy but I like listening to it, especially in the piano version❤️
