Hi! I’m Chungus, and I just joined the forums. I’ve been playing Animal Crossing since its Game Cube release. The only game I haven’t played in full is City Folk. I should get on that.
Right now, I play New Leaf, but I’m especially an active player on New Horizons. I’ve logged too many hours since I downloaded it on release day! I love how New Horizons has taken Animal Crossing to a whole other level, from outdoor decorating to its graphics. I am also a fan of the new villager mechanism that basically prevents any and all random moveouts. It makes dream villager hunting more realistic for me.
Speaking of villagers, my favorite villagers include Walt, Keaton, Rhonda, and more. Walt has been my best friend since New Leaf and I’ve known Rhonda since Wild World. I have both of their amiibo cards. Keaton was a good pal in New Leaf, but he sadly moved out. If there was an 11th villager slot in New Horizons, he’d be there for sure.
Here are my (current) villagers in my New Leaf town, Palette Town. I plan on switching Peggy for Punchy, as Punchy would go along with Mac. This is because Punchy and Mac both look like my cat and dog, respectively! I am also aiming to keep my villager count at 9 to minimize the chance of villager move-ins and outs when I’m off playing New Horizons.
And here are my (current) villagers in my New Horizons island, Kame! These villagers are a blend of my favorites and designs that go well with my Dragon Ball inspiration. Drago, Shari, Graham, and my jock duo are part of it! Graham is relevant because his whole gimmick is being a nerd or otaku. The rest are self-explanatory, I’m sure!
Speaking of my jock duo, Dom is my absolute favorite of the new villagers! He is so, so cute. I love seeing him in my village. Kevin was actually my starting jock, and by sheer coincidence, he shares my birthday! We are birthday triplets (since I already have a twin brother) and Kevin is currently my best friend in Kame. I am also particularly close with Maddie, as she, along with Kevin, was at my birthday party! (Of course, I went to Kevin’s afterwords).
So, what do you guys think of my villagers? Who is your favorite new villager in New Horizons? And does your island also have a theme or is partly inspired by something else, like mine is?

i was also thinking maybe curly would be a good islander to have bc he looks a lot like oolong haha, i guess if kevin ever leaves! also if you got one of the gorillas (louie, peewee or boyd could work) they could represent great ape goku!! haha just some fun ideas. anyways i got way too excited just now, but your island seems really great and i hope you’re enjoying your time on the forums so far : D
