hey there!! welcome to tbt, i can tell you’ll mesh with everyone here very well <3 i love your db themed island. my bf irl is a very big db fan (dragon ball, z, super, anything db related ever since he was a kid haha) and we’ve been watching dragon ball together. it’s sooo good so far and i LOVE that you have drago he’s literally so perfect for shenron!!! i was also thinking maybe curly would be a good islander to have bc he looks a lot like oolong haha, i guess if kevin ever leaves! also if you got one of the gorillas (louie, peewee or boyd could work) they could represent great ape goku!! haha just some fun ideas. anyways i got way too excited just now, but your island seems really great and i hope you’re enjoying your time on the forums so far : D

Aww, that’s great to hear! I am coming to really like the Bell Tree Forums — it’s so easy to talk to everyone and I feel super welcomed here. ❤ And that’s so sweet that you and your bf are bonding over Dragon Ball! Dragon Ball isn’t always easy to just get into unless you’re watching the newer releases, so it’s awesome that you’re seeing more of what Dragon Ball has to offer! I am one of those “old farts” who prefers to older content to the newer content, hehe.

Thank you!! I couldn’t agree more about Shenron/Drago! He is too cute and perfect. As far as the others go, I already made a post on another forum about which Dragon Ball characters would work best as villagers! My list is similar to yours, but with a few added:

I agree about Curly looking exactly like Oolong, but Kevin is too near and dear to my heart that I can’t possibly let him go! Kevin was not only my starter villager, but he and I also share the same birthday. What are the odds of that??

i’m so glad you’re enjoying it!! and omg yea, we’re both huge anime nerds and db franchise is his holy grail anime/manga, so it seemed fitting that we start watching it together. i personally can’t watch long tv shows or manga without going alllll the way to the start haha, it feels wrong so i had to start with Dragon ball!!! and omg yeah i feel that. i actually think db is wayyy easier to get into than i expected, it’s already bomb and i’m invested! i also looove the retro anime style, so undefeated.

also that list is amazing omg. just sent it to my bf and he said it’s dope!!! he wants drago really bad haha. and mitzi is so cute for puar <3 i don’t know some of the characters on there yet but the ones i do are really accurate. and LMAO this revelation that curly is literally oolong is so important (i want him now lowkey)... i understand abt the starting villager thing, i had to let go of kid cat but i really didn’t want to even tho he’s not a dreamie. kevin is a cutie either way!!
and of course, i love talking to people abt anime AND animal crossing hahaha so this is gr8!!!
