Katrina's in my town for those of you trying to rack up visits and get her added to main street

Unfortunately, it's a myth that going to other people's towns with Katrona in it would count towards their visits. The truth is that it only counts when Katrina is in your own town

Why does everybody think this?

"After the mayor and any other player characters in town have had their fortune told by Katrina a cumulative total of 20 times, she will suggest setting up a permanent shop in the empty building on Main Street (next door to the Dream Suite and behind the photobooth) as a public work project for 340,000 bells. The player does not have to have their fortune told in their town; they are able to visit another player's town to have their fortune told and it will count towards being able to build her shop on their main street."

I got about half of my fortunes told in other towns before she set up shop, and I kept a rough count

Oh, i totally thought this was the opposite way around. I think its opposite with gracie, right,

As far as I know. Never tried doing a fashion check outside of my town, just TT'd to do them all at once

I stand corrected. Back when I was trying to get her shop years ago, that was the info that I kept seeing so I assumed it was true and just made human characters, made them visit, and then deleted them and had my mayor do the last visit. I guess I had no more need to research on this so I just always believed what I read from before.
