Keep Rown Pretty ordinance NOT working?!

Today I went on my second town Rown for a trade, I have not played for 3 days (cough pokemon cough) and I woke up to this~



these all around me are black flowers, so i thought that I had the money ordince on, so i went down to Isabelle and~



what? I have the pretty on in act? then why are my flowers wilting? also i have weeds!



:C I am not sure why this happened, and stupid me had to TT to finish a delayed dress order, so i didn't water them, and they are now gone *face palm* I had over 30 black flowers, that cost me so much money, *sigh* from the top i suppose.

Any one know why this happened?

Weeds will still appear when you have the Beautiful Ordinance in effect.

Buuuttt....I'm not so sure why your flowers wilted :/

When did you put the ordinance in effect? It takes one day for it to come into affect, so if you just changed it the first day and not water the flowers than that could be why they wilted. Other than that I have no idea why this happened.

I am not sure when, but it was more than 3 days ago, it must have been at least because I have not played for 3 days and Isabelle said it was already in act

That's true, weeds to grow. I didn't post more pictures but there were weeds spread all over the town. Before, I think every day one or two would- but that is normal? All of my black flowers though were wilted, update though my regular flowers were not 0.o

Try to reenact it and make sure nothing is dying.

I've had that happen and I lost a bunch of hybrids from TTing Katt into boxes. You have to give it a day or so for it take effect. And nothing can already be dying. If they are, you have to water them since they will go poof otherwise. When I got Kid Cat out, I gave the ordinance a few days and made sure nothing was dying... and voil?! Could TT to my heart's content and not worry about anything dying. :3 Though, if you want more hybrids to appear, you HAVE to water them.

Is it possible the flowers were wilted the day you enacted the Beautiful Town? The next day they wouldn't die because of the ordinance but they remained wilted because there was no water. And, as said above, weeds can still appear but just less often. I'm sure Isabelle says those exact words when you enact it.
