Trump's administration scares me because he has no idea what he's doing. He was just a reality TV star, and he has no experience in the political field. On top of that, he's hiring people with no political experience, either.

On top of that, I disagree with his views on... well, pretty much everything. I'd rather agree with the person who's representing my country.

I didn't agree with Obama on many issues, but Trump is pretty much the complete opposite of me in political views. I'd consider myself a socialist, and he's nowhere near that. I'm closer to Bernie, but I've got some issues with the guy, too.

Not trying to put anyone down, just stating my political views. That's all I've got to say, I think.

I can't stand her and the "alternative facts" she claims about such as the "Bowling Green Massacre". I was actually in Bowling Green, Kentucky, just this past June. Believe me, if something happened there, I would know.
I actually don't watch SNL much BTW. I watch every once in a while but I've never found it as funny as MADtv.

Their purpose is to let the speaker gather their thoughts, and to let you know that the speaker is thinking and is actually being considerate in what they are saying. People using filler words is just them trying to articulate themselves properly and it is actually a good sign.

I wanted to say that being a good speaker =/= being a good decision maker, though it does help.

Sure, but when you're the president and have to present your ideas to the public, members of congress, as well as other political leaders, it is a skill you should definitely have.

Sentence fillers are proof someone is gathering their thoughts. I don't know how you can think this is a bad thing and then claim that not thinking about what you say is a positive trait. Actually, it's a horrible one. Especially if you are supposed to be a leader in which case you need to be thoughtful and thorough.

Trump doesn't stop and think about what he says because he has someone else write his speeches and then he reads them off a teleprompter.

Anyone using them is a good sign because as I said, they show that the person is being careful in what they say and that they are making sure to get their point across properly.

I think Trump has made some* careful decisions lately despite his crass way of speaking and I really think our relations with other countries would have been worse under Hillary - by worse meaning I think the US would've continued to be the world's whipping boy (and as a US citizen sorry not sorry I care more for my countrymen than the rest of the world) That said we're not in an alternate timeline so it's impossible to say.

Trump's entire family is deluded. The way his son tries to create fake news by taking an old quote by the mayor of London out of context to make him look as if he condoned terrorism, right after the Westminster attack, is disgusing. is being a good speaker bad? no. i just would be more skeptical of people who never misspeak from time to time and never get caught off guard, almost as if they are being given their questions ahead of time... that's just personal opinion though. and it's not because they are like Hitler, it just seems weird to me. you don't need to compare someone to Hitler to criticize them. you can just criticize them for being themselves. but people always go so overboard with these exaggerations and the biased spins and then act surprised when they're called fake news. i've already shown that being "like Hitler" isn't even necessarily a bad thing. he was very much against smoking is another example. comparing someone to someone bad isn't even an argument. it's a topic for crappy high school English essay. instead of comparing Trump (or anyone you disagree with) to Hitler, how about you just tell us why Trump is bad? then a more substantive discussion can be had and progress can be made.
