This stuff is SUPER DUPER old, so forgive me for the extreme!!! wonkiness. Also...I was obsessed with characters from it I'm sure aren't THE MOST recognizable, so I'm not sure how interesting this stuff will actually be to look at.

As always, thanks for the super duper positive responses on my thread. I'm actually working to get into character design! So hearing compliments like "it's like an actual cartoon" or something along the lines really makes my day because that's exactly what I'm going for. Here's just a little bit of character design work I've put together in the past. I still gotta practice and probably should jump back into the habit of making model sheets...but! I can't keep my focus on original works for the life of me...SO YEAH!
Also! Here's some background work I've done. I've been trying to work with Adobe Flash CS5.5 to recreate my usual, lineless way of drawing in a way that can be easily animated. I'll show the results whenever I get around to that...It's proved to be tricky because it's such a complex thing for Flash considering there are lots of rules to my style (IE. background elements can overlap the character, but if the character overlaps any object of the background there MUST be a thick, black border around whatever body part is overlapping the BG so the colors look right in comparison. It's really tricky to get that working in Flash, trust me!)

Those last four are actually for an animation I'm putting together where I'm animating a scene from Bob's Burgers in my art style. WEIRD! I know!!! I'm currently obsessed with it. I told you my fandoms were weird! If you're interested, though, here's the rough, sketchy animatic for that.
And here's the character designs for that:
I'm using that as an opportunity to perfect my lineless art style in Adobe Flash CS5.5. This is gonna take a while to animate. I might not finish it, but what I DO finish I will share. I'm sure I'll learn something from the experience regardless.
