I love them both too much. I?ve been playing Kirby games every since I was a kid but always playing Mario games then as well that had Yoshi in them, and I loved him immediately when I saw him. In every game I play, either Mario Party or anything else, I always pick Yoshi. And then again, I absolutely love Kirby games and Kirby himself. Have to go with both.
They are both adorable and I enjoyed the Yoshi's Island games I played back in the days, then
again, Kirby was and still is one of my all-time favorite Nintendo characters, so my vote goes to
him.
I like both. Though I didn't get the Switch versions of their games. I still love them and even am considering questing to get Kirby's Dream Land 3 for my Super Nintendo >:3 (Already have Yoshi's Island but the label was torn off :'( )
I like both of them a lot! They're both so adorable! I'll choose Yoshi since I've never played a Kirby game before. However I have played plenty of Mario games and Yoshi is one of my favorite characters!
I like them both! But I have a slight preference for Yoshi as I grew up with him a little bit more. While I did play one or two Kirby games, I enjoyed Yoshi's Island and Yoshi Touch & Go a lot more! And I love his voice and everything. I also loved levels where you could ride Yoshi in Super Mario Bros on the Wii! They were all part of my favorite levels for sure.
I love Yoshi, but I may be a bit bias because I've only played Kirby twice with a former friend. If I was six, I would definitely say Kirby, because I loved the colour pink. But now I have outgrown my girly-girlyness and started to become a tomboy just before reaching year three. Green is my favourite colour now. Well, it makes sense since I love Brussels' spouts. (sorry, don't hate me!) Luigi is my go-to Mario Bros. character, but if I have to play Mario, I play Mario.
This is question is sooo hard! I can't pick one - I like them both.
I like Kirby games more, since more of them are fun and well made. Yoshi's Island was wonderful, Wolly World fun and Yoshi's Story could've included more, but wasn't bad either, but there's more Good Kirby games than there are Yoshi games.
As for the mascot itself. Kirby is cute and can transform into most anything he absorbs to boot. Comes in more than just one color and he's so cute when he says 'poyo' or 'hi'. He's really fun to play as in Smash, too. Yoshi is also super cute, comes in more than one color, lays eggs and he reminds me of a puppy. He's also super cute.
I have to say I like both but kirby is easier for me to play and also I've played more kirby games than yoshi games.
However they're both sidescrollers with the same concept.
I like the yarn games!
