Kirby Star Allies

It's generally a good idea having at least one ally following you the entire time, since you won't know when you'll need him/her. When playing alone or with one friend, the teamwork sections would always necessitate two players to cooperate. If you don't have a single ally by the time you reach said section, you could always backtrack to find a foe to befriend.

Thanks for the answer! I was just curious because it seems as though the game is too easy when you have all 3 allies. Maybe when I do end up getting it I’ll jusg try to keep one around until more are absolutely necessary

I waited on the update to start my playthrough so I can enjoy having the new dream friends.

One question: is it necessary to use the allies at all times? Because from what I’ve seen there’s a few parts where you NEED them, but can you pretty much play the game solo and pick them up whenever the necessary parts come or do you always have to have them?

It's highly recommended because there will be some parts of the game that you're forced to use all 4 allies and some rooms that would contain puzzles to solve. If there are some rooms that you can't solve, you can try to make it work as I did, but of course you'll need to use a piggyback for it work as well.

I wish the game was 60fps. The graphics are great but the frame rate is just bad compared to past Kirby games. I blame the annoying friend gimmick.

Okay, I heard complaints that the game was too short (at least, for a Kirby game), so I started World 4 thinking it'll be the last world so yeah, I was ready to finish it but wow I didn't expect it to be that long. It's almost as long as the first three combined lol. Also, the final battle is probably one of the best (and longest). I like it better than the final battle in Planet Robobot, which I feel like it's already too epic in it's own right.

I did read the news that there will be more dream friends in the later or future updates so expect more dream friends to come.

As for the duration of the game, well that's true, but if you're playing in 3-4 player mode, that's where chaos and carnage comes in. One of the youtuber that my friend mentioned to me is doing a video on Kirby star allies, but the LP will start at around end of may or around on that day and What I do know about this youtuber is that he went hardcore by not picking up power-ups in guest star allies and dismissing friends (or allies) to avoid picking up the power-ups so any of that stuff will cause downtime to complete guest star allies.

Also the Kirby games get harder after each and new Kirby's adventure games so don't expect to make the game and story that short. that's where half health mode (as in extra mode) comes in with the exception of guest star allies. Last time, True arena almost got me best and I had to use 2 of my amiibos for emergency food (or rations) so yeah, it'll get tougher from this point on. Artist and cook abilities may be useful, but there's a cooldown in using friend abilities except for cook Kirby which it can be used once although for Kawasaki, he gets cooldown for using the cook pot, but still uses offensive moves.

Okay now that the final update is out I'm dragging this thread back up
The battle against the 3 mage sisters is BRUTAL. Void is difficult too but the mages? At least I can see everything Void is doing, the sisters have way too much happening (but that's good!). On the plus side, their individual fights are a cinch now.
I really like how in this update they tried to be as overly edgy as possible with no actual reason to back it up. Kracko being born from the mix of pure hatred and the tears of his fallen enemies is some quality poetry tbh.
ANYWAYS BACK TO VOID, so Kirby and Void are related in some way. Void and Zero are probably also connected. So Kirby is a child of a dark god, sounds about right for him. Altho I still want to know what Void Termina is (the giant humanoid/bird thing with Majora's Mask on its face, not the purple ball), is that like a puppet for Void to control from the inside?
Anyways the game has challenging content now, so go play it again if you haven't tried the new stuff yet!

After the last update to the game, I no longer feel like something is missing from it.
