L shoulder button not working

On my old DS Lite which I got at launch, the L button seems to rarely work now. I have to press it several times to get it to work once, which can be VERY annoying. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix it?

Happened to me, too. But right now, my touch screen doesn't work, so I've got a bigger problem

Yeah, I'd kind of like to try and find some ways of fixing it before going out of the way to spend so much money on a new one
